Scary as Hell. I personally thought Jitterskull and the creeper were the scariest though. The creeper always got me, I wouldn't even know he was there until he had killed me. NOTE: Don't play this if you have a really weak stomach. The final ghoul, Samara, likes to bombard you with images of aborted fetuses, decapitated women, and other grisly images.

I gave the 1st Ghoul's Forest three stars as a new concept-experiment wad, but the novelty value has worn off. The sequels just expand on something that was ultimately a very limited idea, even the new Ghouls don't really differ much in principle. If you want atmospheric gameplay, Grove & Phocas Island have more to offer in relation to map-design and are also far more enjoyable in terms of gameplay.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT I must have shit my pants several times, because I don't remember buying brown pants. Also, whoever suggested using freeze... I CAN TELL YOU FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, IT DOESN'T WORK MAN! I thought I was safe, only to be raped by yurei even with freeze. The way the images are presented, not the images, is what scares the shit out of me. Yurei just sneaks up then eye rapes me and I'm a just another dead SS on the ground. And I thought Doom couldn't be scary anymore!

Shit man, that is one creepy ass wad. You scared me good dude. Those images that appear during that last fight was some fucked up shit. The bow and arrow was cool, but it's nearly impossible to hit the screamming ghoul with it.

Deep sigh. Nofi, but 1 was worthless, 2 was plain childish, and 3 is the same with some extra technical skills. I seriously wonder WTF author keeps on spoiling his and our time to this shit.

Not exactly good, but not terrible either. It doesn't stay scary for long and quickly gets repetitive, which is TGF3's main flaw. It's really fun on Cooperative though, so it's still worth a try. 3.5/5 stars

Fucking scary shit. The noises are scary, loud and annoying. The images that pop up when the final ghoul appears is some nasty ass sick shit. I like spawning in a bunch of monsters to see if they can take on the ghouls. The Sjas ghouls are easily killed off by alot of the Doom monsters, but the other ones rape them easily. 4/5
