    I understood it a little The .wad is the map, for that I need a mod like e.g. B. brutal DooM and I can play the .wad in it.     in itself yes/no I understood that you can load pk3 and zip into it, but as you can see in the video, there are more HUD and level graphics that I don't have and don't know where they are, where they have to go in for it to work =) that's the problem =)

    reetings to you all, I've been trying to figure out for a long time how the great mods work when playing, in the descriptions you only ever see a download link, but I'm stumped as to where the stuff has to go and how to start here for example: Very nicely done, but when I play it it doesn't look like that. Can someone reach under my shoulders and help me out of this mess? Best regards DAB

    oh^^ thx But that also works with .zip? The .zip and .pk3 are just compressed files... well =) Now it works. For more information... So a simple wad file contains what? And how do I recognize these MODS?

    hmmm if I only load the Maps of Chaos and atom doom, only DooM 2 will start with the Maps of Chaos.wad The atomic DooM like on the homepage where you can download it is not available...or I can't get it started on my own either.

    Ah ^^ now it works if you pull both in, but it's not a clean job. Do you think the ZDL is responsible for displaying all maps and mods clearly? and egg? thanksoooo THX

    Hello, OK, I think I understand it so far, here is a screen from GZDOOM. you write: You just have to load both into GZDoom so that you get "Doom II + Brutal Doom + Maps of Chaos". hmm how do I do that?

    Wait, somehow I don't understand this. The files that I open are .pk3 "zip" OK, I understand that, but the individual WAD files are something different? That's just the LEVEL, how do the other weapons and monsters get in there? How does a WAD work with BRUTAL DOOM? Because when I load the WAD in ZDOOM, I have the standard game.....

    I already have all of that, I've played Brutal Doom several times, Project Brutallity too and other mods, but when I start the "WAD" maps, only the standard Doom is played.

    Hello everyone, I have to ask some basic questions. Use GZ DOOM 4.10 I downloaded this file "WAD" https://tinyurl.com/3v4yzn8z They started and it plays like normal DOOM 2, but not like in the video here The weapons and all the other rest are not there. What is wrong or what am I doing wrong? Best regards

    Hello first thx for the nice answer =) I also saw the videos from Chubzdoomer and they fit if you create it on MBF21 Doom2 (format) maps. Only the Doom2.wad is required for this. But there are some errors here too, video is yet to come. I had it previously on UDMF and ZDoom ACS as a script and it didn't work there, that's clear to me now =) What's the whole difference between UDMF.... Boom...etc....etc...??? Does the script also have something to say? I'm on ZDoom ACS ? When I am in MBF21 Doom2 Mape or UDMF I get this error message...what is it ? how do i get rid of this? Patch "SW18_7", index 2324 is double defined in resource "DOOM2.WAD". Will post a video later because I do it exactly like in the tutorial. But either the door doesn't open and you can hear the sound of opening and closing, or it opens and you can't go through it, it also opens from top to bottom instead of bottom to top =) or the textures aren't there where they should be =) see you later greeting HERE THE VIDEO : https://www.dab-fx.com/grafik/doom2_door.mp4

    Both dooms? you mean 1 +2 ? not that I desert I only specified the Doom2.wad and the gzdoom.pk3
